Established in 1875, they class themselves as "The Leaders of the Power Transmission Industry. They are certainly an innovative and forward thinking company, they actually invented the Taper Bush and the Dodge E type bearing.
	They spent over $20M in research and development before launching their Self Lube range of bearings, as a result of this expenditure Dodge believe they have created the best Self Lube bearing in the World. The product has many benefits up and above other traditional Self Lube bearings.
One of their most recent inventions was a food safe bearing developed for Dow Pineapple of Hawaii, they were experiencing major problems where Citric Acid from the fruit was attacking the bearings, causing them to fail, prematurely. Dodge came up with a white plastic housed, corrosion resistant bearing which gave an improvement of more than ten times the life of standard bearings. Being white, they also look very impressive in any food processing environment.
